Campaigns

Here you can learn more about the campaigns Simone has been a part of!

Loewe Paula’s Ibiza 2021 – Summer Daze Campaign

In July 2021, Simone was a part of an advertisement campaign for LOEWE’s Paula’s Ibiza Eau de Toilette titled “Summer Daze”. The creative director was Jonathan Anderson, and the film was directed by chateauxmanson. The music featured in the ad, “Crimson And Clover”, is by Tommy James.

“It’s a character I’ve always wanted to play. I love beachy hair and the sun on my skin, with lots of shimmery oil, eating fruit and ice cream all day. When I saw the mood board from Jonathan, I could relate to it and felt so excited.” – Simone

Under the creative direction of Jonathan Anderson, and filmed by Manson at Playa de la Casería in Cádiz, southern Spain, the short-film ‘Summer Daze’ is an ode to freedom, youth and beauty. A dreamlike picture that revolves around three young friends embarking on a Summer adventure in which they escape from everyday life in search of a sanctuary by the sea.

Simone Ashley, Aron Piper and Fernando Lindez are the stars in this relaunch campaign for the fragrance LOEWE Paula’s Ibiza Eau de Toilette for men and women. This warm, intimate and playful story evokes the happy, carefree, and liberated attitude of Paula’s Ibiza Eau de Toilette. This universal fragrance is tropical, beachy, and irreverent, infused with hedonism and spontaneity. It’s bottled escapism.

Stella McCartney X Sex Education Breast Cancer Awareness 2021

In 2021, the Sex Education cast teamed up with Stella McCartney for the brand’s annual Breast Cancer Awareness campaign. The campaign was released as a comedic sketch which features Stella as an ill-informed 80s sex-ed video host, with the Sex Education cast members in character including Aimee Lou Wood, Chinenye Ezeudu, Sami Outalbali, Mimi Keene, Chaneil Kular and Simone questioning the outdated information. It was additionally supported by an educational packet. You can read more about it below, as well as check out the original Toilet, Teeth, tits advert.

Toilet, Teeth, Tits (TTT) is our seventh annual breast cancer awareness campaign, created in partnership with Sex Education. The 3-minute hero film uses humour to dispel myths about the disease while inspiring and informing next-generation women to integrate self-checking into their regular routines through a catchy, cheeky message: use the Toilet, brush your Teeth, check your Tits.

TTT t-shirts have replaced the annual limited-edition lingerie set for 2021, with the Stella McCartney Cares Foundation donating one free Louise Listening post-mastectomy bra for every tee purchased. The pale blue organic cotton shirts are made with sporty front and back logo details and heat-reactive dye that turns pink when touched, cheekily reminding women to examine their breasts.

“We need levity more than ever and I have always believed in bringing humour to fashion. Now, we are using it as a tool to remind women of all ages to check their breasts, especially younger women who may not be aware they need to or skipped mammograms during lockdown.” – STELLA MCCARTNEY

During lockdown, Breast Cancer Now estimates nearly 1 million British women missed their mammograms due to breast screening programmes being paused. Breast cancer is already the UK’s most common cancer, with over 55,000 women and 350 men diagnosed with the disease annually.

This year, the Stella McCartney Cares Foundation will give away 10,000 Louise Listening post-mastectomy bras – a beautiful yet highly technical garment for women who have undergone a mastectomy as part of their treatment for breast cancer. Our charitable organisation additionally supports breast cancer initiatives globally, including The Linda McCartney Centre in Liverpool.

Prada Campaign

Simone was one of four models who modelled Prada’s Autumn/Winter 2021 Collection designed by co-designers Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons in 2021. The other actresses were Emma Corrin, Jessie Mei Li and Wunmi Mosaku. Learn more about the campaign by reading an interview with the designers themselves on the link under “related press”!

Simone modelled:
– Sequined knit dress, £7,500. Faux-fur and jacquard stole, £1,100. Leather boots, £1,200. Wool gloves, £650. (Photo)
– Crêpe and jacquard dress, £2,400. Leather boots, £1,200. Leather gloves, £850. (Photo)
– Corduroy coat, £2,800. Wool polo shirt, £790. Wool poloneck, £790. Leather boots, bag and gloves, £1,200/£2,400/£1,200 (Photo)
– Jacquard and crêpe dress, £2,300. Jacquard boots, £1,300. Leather and faux-fur bag, £1,600. Leather gloves, £850. (Photo)

“I love the gloves!” exclaims Simone Ashley of this look. “Why are gloves so sexy?” This bodes well. Ashley, 26, may be best known as mean queen Olivia in Netflix’s Sex Education, but soon the Surrey-born, LA-dwelling actor will be donning gloves (and bonnet) as the new lead in series two of hit costume drama Bridgerton – watched by 82 million households and counting. How does it feel? “The entire cast and crew have been working so hard,” she says. “I try not to think too much about what’s next. I find it easier to be grateful… and just give it all I’ve got.”
